PRE-PITCHED CAMPING FAQS
When can I check in?
Guests can check in at the Perfectly Pitched reception from 8am to midnight until all guests have checked in.
Please bring photo ID and a copy of your booking confirmation for check in.
WHAT IS THE RECEPTION OPENING HOURS?
Normal reception opening hours are 8am-12pm and 4pm-8pm when reception is closed, there will be a 24-hour point of contact for use in emergencies.
Where is Perfectly Pitched Camping located at Silverstone F1?
Perfectly Pitched Camping will be situated in an exclusive area close to the family camping field just 5 minutes’ walk from the lively camping zone and 5-minute walk to the circuit.
I'm travelling by car. What are the parking arrangements?
Guests will have access to an exclusive parking area within the general car park.
All guests must be in possession of a Silverstone Woodlands Perfectly Pitched camping ticket and car park pass.
Please purchase your car park pass when booking your accommodation on the Silverstone Woodlands website, this costs £35 + £1.75 booking fee.
Will our event tickets be included in the price of the accommodation?
No Event tickets are included in your accommodation booking. You will require a Silverstone Woodlands Pre-Pitched ticket to access the Perfectly Pitched Camping area. If you are not in possession of a Pre-Pitched ticket (per person) you will be required to pay for your tickets before you enter the Woodlands Campsite.
What essential items should I bring?
A torch
Lots of layers for when the sun goes down
Plenty of warm bedding (if you’re bringing your own)
Cosy pyjamas
Bringing an extra blanket is always a good idea just in case the night times are a little cooler.
Can I bring more people to stay in my tent?
Only the advertised number of people for your tent size can stay in the accommodation.
Will there be security?
Pre-Pitched Camping will be located in the General Campsite. There will be security at the entrance to the campsite checking wristbands.
As always, Perfectly Pitched Camping can not be liable for lost or stolen items. We advise all guests against bringing unnecessary valuable items to the event and having handbags or purses on visual display in their tent.
What about toilets, showers and pamper areas?
Guests will have access to the toilets and showers located in the general camping area supplied by Silverstone Woodlands.
Can I bring alcohol?
As indicated on the Silverstone Woodlands website:
Yes, but we do not allow glass onto site, any alcohol in glass should be decanted before your arrival. Any glass bottles may be removed by our security teams. We allow 2 cans of beer/spirit & mixer/wine/cider per person to be brought in to our entertainment areas. Anything above this will need to be returned to your camp. We have plenty of well stocked bars for you to enjoy! Please drink responsibly.
Can I use a barbeque or camping stove?
As indicated on the Silverstone Woodlands website:
Yes, as long as it is raised off the ground. We have specific Hot Ash Bins to dispose of BBQ’s and coals once they’ve cooled down.
What about the environment?
At Perfectly Pitched Camping we respect the environment and try our hardest to look after all the beautiful spaces where we set up camp. We welcome all guests' help in keeping our area clean and tidy and assisting us in leaving no trace.
